A Buddha procession was held on May 21 evening in the central city of Hue to celebrate Lord Buddha’s 2568th birthday (Vesak Day). The procession started from Dieu De pagoda, through the main streets of Hue city, then ended at Tu Dam pagoda. The event, organised by Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board in Thua Thien Hue province, attracted thousands of monks, nuns and Buddhists in the central province.
