KPJ HEALTHCARE AND MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL UNITE FOR SUPERIOR PATIENT CARE

KUALA LUMPUR, KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJ Healthcare or Group) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Marriott International in Indonesia and Malaysia (Marriott) to elevate the standard of care offered to patients and guests alike.

The MoU was signed at The RitzCarlton Jakarta, Pacific Place in Indonesia today and the signing ceremony was attended by KPJ Healthcare president and managing director Chin Keat Chyuan; KPJ Healthcare chief marketing officer Sherene Azli and area vice president Indonesia and Malaysia, Marriott International Ramesh Jackson.

According to a statement today, the alliance between KPJ Healthcare and Marriott promises a seamless integration of KPJ Healthcare’s medical excellence with the luxurious comfort provided by Marriott, incorporating the expertise, standards and best practices from the hospitality sector into healthcare services.

Marriott International currently operates 110 hotels and resorts across Indonesia and Malaysia, with 21 out of over 30 of its global brands.

Chin said by leveraging Marriott’s vast experience in delivering exceptional guest experiences, the Group is committed to creating an environment that prioritises patient well-being, satisfaction and recovery, setting new benchmarks in healthcare service delivery and patient-centric care.

Following the MoU signing, the Group will also launch its first-ever KPJ Healthcare Expo 2024 (KPJHX 2024) in Jakarta, which will be held from May 16 to 19, 2024 with Marriott as a hospitality partner.

This MoU comes at a pivotal moment for KPJ Healthcare as the Group seeks to enhance innovation and excellence in the Malaysian Health Tourism market, underscoring KPJ Healthcare’s commitment to elevate the medical tourism experience for both local and international patients.
