Montreal-Based CCC Delegation Seeks Understanding of Cambodia’s Education Investment Context

A delegation of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce (CCC) in Montreal, Canada, seeks to understand Cambodia’s education investment perspective.

Head of the CCC in Montreal Mr. Kelvin K. Mo led the delegation to learn about the context from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth, and Sports H.E. Hang Chuon Naron at the ministry on Jun. 5.

According to Mr. Kelvin K. Mo, the delegation is interested in youth participation and development, entertainment and sports development, public and private partnerships, the impact of investment, and future plans and initiatives.

H.E. Hang Chuon Naron shared with his guest the establishment of private schools, teacher resource promotion, vocational training, experience exchange among academia, and overseas study cooperation.

The minister underlined the education priorities guided by the government’s pentagonal strategy to ensure quality human resources development through promoting moral education, technical skill training, and the advancement of curriculu
m, research, and innovation.

He called on foreign investors to support and take part in investment in Cambodia’s priority areas.
