More than 1,029 tonnes of rice from the national reserve will be distributed to five central and Central Highlands localities ahead of the lean season. Accordingly, Phu Yen will get over 106 tonnes of the grain, Ninh Thuan more than 589.6 tonnes, Lam Dong 7.3 tonnes, Dak Lak 170.67 tonnes, and Dak Nong 170.67 tonnes. The rice will be handed over by the end of July 10.
