Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone and a delegation will visit Indonesia in response to the invitation of Indonesian President Joko Widodo to attend the 42nd ASEAN Summit.
This year edition of the ASEAN Summit will be held under the theme “ASEAN Matters: Epicenter of Growth” in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia between May 10-11.
The Prime Minister and his delegation will attend the meetings between ASEAN leaders and representatives of ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), ASEAN Youth, ASEAN Business Advisory Council, and ASEAN High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision (HLTF-ACV) and have separate bilateral meetings with other ASEAN leaders.
